In this article, we will see what a CMA report means and how you can easily make a Professional level CMA report yourself online.
What is CMA Report?
CMA Report’s complete form is Credit Monitoring Arrangement Report. It is a complex report containing businesses’ past financial data and future projections. It has seven statements in a specific format, and the data needs to be correctly correlated between all these statements.
A well-prepared and well-presented CMA report is a must to get the loan sanctioned.
How to Prepare a CMA Report?
To start with, log in to our website. Now click on CMA Report Builder.
Here you have two options, you can either enter details online or you can choose the excel format option
To make a CMA report with Excel, click the ‘Use Excel Utility’ button as shown below

Step 1: Download the CMA Excel utility file
Click on the ‘Download Excel’ button to download the CMA Excel utility file
Step 2: Fill Data in Excel File
After downloading the excel file, there are four sheets to be filled in the file.
- General Information like your business name, loan amount, etc. You need to enter details such as:
- Your Profit and Loss A/c of the past two years
- Balance Sheet Liabilities of the past two years.
- Balance Sheet Assets for the past two years
Step 3: Save & Upload Excel File
After filling in all the information, save the excel sheet and click on the Free Plan or Pro Plan button, and you will be directed to our website CMA Software.

Click on ‘Upload Excel File’ and browse the excel file you just saved and upload the same. After uploading the file, you will get a message – File has been uploaded.
Step 4: Generate & Download the CMA report
That’s all. Now click on ‘Generate CMA Report’ and then Click ‘Download CMA Report.’
After downloading the Report, please review it and check the MPBF (Maximum Permissible Bank Finance) Statement on page 7 of the Report. Your loan value should be less than or equal to the MPBF value appearing in the Report. If your loan amount is higher than the MPBF value, then you can lower the loan limit value and generate a new CMA report.
